How to uninstall PCKeeper from your system

PCKeeper has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

The files below are left behind on your disk by PCKeeper when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\CLR_v4.0\UsageLogs\PCKeeper.exe.log

Usually the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Essentware\PCKeeper

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

A way to erase PCKeeper from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PCKeeper is an application marketed by the software company Essentware. Frequently, computer users choose to uninstall it. 3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find PCKeeper or simply click the Search field and type in "PCKeeper". If it exists on your system the PCKeeper program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select PCKeeper in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding PCKeeper, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove PCKeeper.


8. After uninstalling PCKeeper, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of PCKeeper which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PCKeeper with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
