When planning to uninstall PCKeeper you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

The files below remain on your disk by PCKeeper's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\CLR_v4.0\UsageLogs\PCKeeper.exe.log

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Essentware\PCKeeper

How to delete PCKeeper from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PCKeeper is a program offered by the software company Essentware. Sometimes, users try to uninstall it. This can be efortful because removing this manually requires some experience regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to uninstall PCKeeper is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to clean your system.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find PCKeeper or simply click the Search feature and type in "PCKeeper". If it exists on your system the PCKeeper app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click PCKeeper in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding PCKeeper, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove PCKeeper.


8. After removing PCKeeper, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of PCKeeper that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
