A guide to uninstall Kobo from your PC

Kobo is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows version was created by Kobo Inc.. Additional info about Kobo Inc. can be found here. Usually the Kobo application is found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Kobo directory, depending on the user's option during install. You can remove Kobo by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\Kobo\uninstall.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file occupies 6.23 MB (6532960 bytes) on disk and is called Kobo.exe.

A way to erase Kobo from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Kobo is a program offered by Kobo Inc.. Some computer users try to remove this program. Sometimes this is efortful because doing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding PCs. One of the best EASY approach to remove Kobo is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Kobo or simply click the Search feature and type in "Kobo". The Kobo app will be found very quickly. After you select Kobo in the list , the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Kobo, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Kobo.


8. After uninstalling Kobo, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Kobo that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Kobo using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
