Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you remove GOM Player.

The files below remain on your disk by GOM Player when you uninstall it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\GOM Player.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\GOM Player.lnk

Generally the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GOM Player

Additional values that are not removed:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\GOM.exe.ApplicationCompany

How to uninstall GOM Player from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GOM Player is a program by the software company Gretech Corporation. Some users try to remove it. Sometimes this can be difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some know-how regarding PCs. The best SIMPLE practice to remove GOM Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate GOM Player or simply activate the Search field and type in "GOM Player". If it exists on your system the GOM Player program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click GOM Player in the list of programs, the following information about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about GOM Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall GOM Player.


8. After removing GOM Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GOM Player that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing GOM Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
