GOM Player has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall GOM Player from your computer:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer

Generally, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\VSUtil.dll
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\GOM Player.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\GOM Player.lnk

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GOM Player

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\GOM.EXE.ApplicationCompany
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\GOM.EXE.FriendlyAppName

How to erase GOM Player from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GOM Player is a program marketed by the software company Gretech Corporation. Some people want to erase this program. • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for GOM Player:

• The publisher is: http://player.gomlab.com/eng/support/supportcenter/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall GOM Player.


8. After removing GOM Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GOM Player which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling GOM Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
