A guide to uninstall GOM Player from your PC

GOM Player is a Windows program. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. GOM.EXE is the GOM Player's primary executable file and it occupies about 10.14 MB (10637776 bytes) on disk.

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Some of these are listed below.

How to erase GOM Player with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GOM Player is an application marketed by the software company Gretech Corporation. Some people decide to remove this program. This is hard because deleting this by hand takes some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY solution to remove GOM Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find GOM Player or simply click the Search field and type in "GOM Player". The GOM Player app will be found very quickly. When you click GOM Player in the list of apps, some information about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about GOM Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GOM Player:

• The software company is: http://player.gomlab.com/eng/support/supportcenter/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GOM Player.


8. After uninstalling GOM Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of GOM Player which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing GOM Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
