GOM Player is a Windows program. Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you remove GOM Player.

The files below remain on your disk by GOM Player's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\GOM Player.lnk

Registry that is not cleaned:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DVD\shell\Play with GOM Player
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GOM Player

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\GOM.EXE

How to erase GOM Player with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GOM Player is an application by the software company Gretech Corporation. Some computer users want to erase this program. This can be troublesome because removing this manually takes some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE manner to erase GOM Player is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate GOM Player or simply click the Search field and type in "GOM Player". If it exists on your system the GOM Player app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select GOM Player in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding GOM Player, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for GOM Player:

• The publisher is: http://player.gomlab.com/eng/support/supportcenter/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\GRETECH\GomPlayer\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GOM Player.


8. After removing GOM Player, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of GOM Player that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GOM Player using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
