Quite a few files, folders and Windows registry data will not be deleted when you want to remove Fix-It from your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Fix-It:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Avanquest\Fix-It

The files below remain on your disk by Fix-It's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It\About.png

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It\ActivityMonitor.dll

Registry that is not removed:

How to erase Fix-It from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Fix-It is an application offered by Avanquest. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience related to Windows internal functioning. • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Fix-It or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Fix-It". The Fix-It program will be found automatically. When you click Fix-It in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Fix-It, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Fix-It:

• The publisher is: http://www.avanquest.com
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{5158974E-2D28-4018-9335-7694C2974746}\setup.exe" -runfromtemp -l0x0409

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Fix-It.


8. After removing Fix-It, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Fix-It that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Fix-It using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
