How to uninstall Fix-It from your computer

Fix-It is a software application. Many files, folders and Windows registry entries will not be removed when you want to remove Fix-It from your computer.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Avanquest\Fix-It

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Fix-It:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It\About.png
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It\ActiveIntelligence.aqg
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It\ActivityMonitor.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Avanquest\Fix-It\AnalyzerList.xml

Generally the following registry data will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Fix-It Menu
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Fix-It Menu

Registry values that are not removed from your computer:

How to delete Fix-It from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Fix-It is an application released by the software company Avanquest. Some computer users decide to remove this application. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience related to Windows program uninstallation. The best QUICK action to remove Fix-It is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Fix-It or simply click the Search feature and type in "Fix-It". The Fix-It application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click Fix-It in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Fix-It, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Fix-It.


8. After uninstalling Fix-It, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Fix-It that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Fix-It using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
