How to uninstall EZCast from your system

You can find on this page detailed information on how to remove EZCast for Windows. The Windows release was created by Actions-Micro. More information on Actions-Micro can be seen here. Usually the EZCast program is found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCast directory, depending on the user's option during install. EZCast's full uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\EZCast\Uninstall.exe. EZCast's main file takes about 6.12 MB (6419416 bytes) and is called EZCast.exe.

EZCast has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Directories that were left behind:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\IDM\DwnlData\UserName\EZCast_Win_321

The files below are left behind on your disk by EZCast's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\EZCast\EZCast_EZCast\setup.ini

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ \EZCast
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{74CECDD9-4B8E-4AE3-9571-8070A17F3C34}

A way to remove EZCast from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

EZCast is a program offered by Actions-Micro. Some computer users try to erase this program. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually requires some knowledge related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best EASY approach to erase EZCast is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate EZCast or simply activate the Search feature and type in "EZCast". If it exists on your system the EZCast program will be found automatically. Notice that after you select EZCast in the list of applications, the following data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about EZCast, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove EZCast.


8. After removing EZCast, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong EZCast that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling EZCast with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
