A way to uninstall Arduino from your computer

Arduino is a Windows program. Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

A way to erase Arduino using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Arduino is a program marketed by Arduino LLC. Sometimes, computer users try to remove it. This can be easier said than done because deleting this by hand requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove Arduino is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Arduino or simply click the Search feature and type in "Arduino". The Arduino program will be found automatically. After you select Arduino in the list of apps, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about Arduino, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Arduino.

8. After removing Arduino, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Arduino that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
