How to erase Altium Designer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Altium Designer is a program released by Altium Limited. Frequently, users decide to remove it. Sometimes this is difficult because doing this manually takes some know-how related to removing Windows programs manually. The best QUICK solution to remove Altium Designer is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Altium Designer or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Altium Designer". If it exists on your system the Altium Designer application will be found very quickly. After you click Altium Designer in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Altium Designer, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Altium Designer:

• The software company is: http://www.altium.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Altium\AD\System\Installation\uninstall.bat

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Altium Designer.


8. After removing Altium Designer, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Altium Designer that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Altium Designer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
