How to erase Altium Designer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Altium Designer is a program marketed by Altium Limited. Some computer users choose to remove this program. This can be difficult because removing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK approach to remove Altium Designer is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Altium Designer or simply click the Search field and type in "Altium Designer". If it exists on your system the Altium Designer app will be found automatically. After you click Altium Designer in the list of programs, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Altium Designer, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Altium Designer:

• The software company is: http://www.altium.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Altium\AD\System\Installation\uninstall.bat

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Altium Designer.


8. After uninstalling Altium Designer, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Altium Designer that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Altium Designer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
