How to delete Altium Designer from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Altium Designer is an application by Altium Limited. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase this application. This can be difficult because doing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase Altium Designer is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Altium Designer or simply click the Search field and type in "Altium Designer". If it is installed on your PC the Altium Designer application will be found automatically. After you select Altium Designer in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Altium Designer, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Altium\AD\System\Installation\uninstall.bat

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Altium Designer.


8. After uninstalling Altium Designer, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Altium Designer which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Altium Designer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
