A way to remove webget using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

webget is an application offered by webget. Sometimes, people try to erase it. This can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the programs existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate webget or simply click the Search field and type in "webget". If it is installed on your PC the webget application will be found automatically. When you click webget in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding webget, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

  • The software company is: http://webwebget.com/support
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\webget\webgetUn.exe OFS_
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove webget.

8. After removing webget, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong webget that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
