When planning to uninstall ZoneAlarm you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall ZoneAlarm from your computer:

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall ZoneAlarm:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Zone Labs\zonealarm
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ZoneAlarm
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm

Additional values that are not removed:

A way to erase ZoneAlarm from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ZoneAlarm is an application offered by Check Point, Inc. Frequently, computer users decide to remove it. This is difficult because removing this by hand takes some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE solution to remove ZoneAlarm is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ZoneAlarm or simply click the Search field and type in "ZoneAlarm". The ZoneAlarm application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click ZoneAlarm in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding ZoneAlarm, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ZoneAlarm:

• The publisher is: http://www.zonelabs.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove ZoneAlarm.


8. After removing ZoneAlarm, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong ZoneAlarm that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ZoneAlarm using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
