How to uninstall XCTU from your PC

Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. The program's main executable file is labeled XCTU.exe and it has a size of 312.00 KB (319488 bytes).

How to erase XCTU using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

XCTU is a program marketed by Digi International Inc.. Frequently, people choose to remove it. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this manually requires some skill regarding PCs. One of the best EASY solution to remove XCTU is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find XCTU or simply activate the Search feature and type in "XCTU". The XCTU application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click XCTU in the list of apps, the following data about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about XCTU, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for XCTU:

• The web site of the application is: http://www.digiembedded.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Users\harac\AppData\Local\Digi\XCTU-NG\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall XCTU.


8. After uninstalling XCTU, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of XCTU which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling XCTU using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
