A way to remove XCTU using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

XCTU is an application offered by Digi International Inc.. Frequently, computer users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY way to remove XCTU is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows system.

  • download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate XCTU or simply activate the Search feature and type in "XCTU". If it is installed on your PC the XCTU program will be found automatically. After you click XCTU in the list of programs, some information about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about XCTU, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall XCTU.

8. After uninstalling XCTU, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong XCTU which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
