How to erase WinSCP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinSCP is a program marketed by Martin Prikryl. Some users want to uninstall it. This can be difficult because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall WinSCP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find WinSCP or simply click the Search field and type in "WinSCP". If it is installed on your PC the WinSCP application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select WinSCP in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about WinSCP, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove WinSCP.


8. After uninstalling WinSCP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of WinSCP that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing WinSCP with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
