How to uninstall WinSCP from your system

A way to uninstall WinSCP from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

WinSCP is a program offered by Martin Prikryl. Some people decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be hard because uninstalling this manually takes some knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall WinSCP is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find WinSCP or simply activate the Search field and type in "WinSCP". If it exists on your system the WinSCP application will be found very quickly. After you select WinSCP in the list of apps, some information about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about WinSCP, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove WinSCP.


8. After uninstalling WinSCP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of WinSCP that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
