A way to erase UpdateStar from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO
UpdateStar is a program released by UpdateStar GmbH. Sometimes, computer users decide to erase this application. This is difficult because performing this by hand requires some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK action to erase UpdateStar is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your system.

- download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.
3. Press the General Tools category
4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool
5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you
6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate UpdateStar or simply activate the Search feature and type in "UpdateStar". The UpdateStar application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select UpdateStar in the list , some information about the program is available to you:
- Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about UpdateStar, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Technical information about the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove UpdateStar.
8. After uninstalling UpdateStar, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong UpdateStar that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing UpdateStar using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
