How to erase UpdateStar from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

UpdateStar is a program by UpdateStar GmbH. Some computer users try to remove it. Sometimes this is efortful because removing this manually requires some know-how regarding PCs. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your PC.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful PC management program.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate UpdateStar or simply click the Search feature and type in "UpdateStar". If it exists on your system the UpdateStar application will be found automatically. When you click UpdateStar in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about UpdateStar, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall UpdateStar.

8. After uninstalling UpdateStar, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of UpdateStar that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing UpdateStar using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
