A way to erase UpdateStar from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

UpdateStar is an application by the software company UpdateStar GmbH. Some users want to erase this program. 3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find UpdateStar or simply click the Search feature and type in "UpdateStar". The UpdateStar program will be found automatically. When you click UpdateStar in the list of apps, some information about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have about UpdateStar, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall UpdateStar.

8. After removing UpdateStar, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong UpdateStar which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing UpdateStar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
