A guide to uninstall UniTwain from your PC

A way to uninstall UniTwain with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

UniTwain is a program offered by TerminalWorks. Sometimes, users try to uninstall this program. This is easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some experience related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE way to uninstall UniTwain is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate UniTwain or simply activate the Search feature and type in "UniTwain". If it is installed on your PC the UniTwain program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click UniTwain in the list , some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding UniTwain, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for UniTwain:

• The publisher is: http://www.TerminalWorks.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\TerminalWorks\UniTwain\unins000.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall UniTwain.


8. After uninstalling UniTwain, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong UniTwain that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling UniTwain with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
