How to uninstall TextExpander from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

TextExpander is a program offered by Smile, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove this application. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE solution to remove TextExpander is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find TextExpander or simply click the Search feature and type in "TextExpander". If it exists on your system the TextExpander app will be found very quickly. When you click TextExpander in the list , the following information about the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about TextExpander, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall TextExpander.
