How to uninstall TextExpander from your system

A way to delete TextExpander from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

TextExpander is a program by the software company Smile, Inc.. Sometimes, people choose to remove it. This can be hard because deleting this manually requires some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE practice to remove TextExpander is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find TextExpander or simply activate the Search feature and type in "TextExpander". The TextExpander program will be found automatically. Notice that after you click TextExpander in the list of applications, the following data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about TextExpander, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove TextExpander.

8. After removing TextExpander, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of TextExpander which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing TextExpander using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
