A way to uninstall Tenable Nessus using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Tenable Nessus is a program offered by Tenable Network Security, Inc.. Frequently, computer users try to uninstall it. This is troublesome because doing this manually requires some know-how related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to uninstall Tenable Nessus is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to optimize your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Tenable Nessus or simply activate the Search field and type in "Tenable Nessus". If it is installed on your PC the Tenable Nessus app will be found very quickly. When you select Tenable Nessus in the list , the following information regarding the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Tenable Nessus, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Tenable Nessus:

• The publisher is: http://www.tenablesecurity.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{720CFD7B-664B-4450-8EB3-62A2531C4548}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Tenable Nessus.


8. After removing Tenable Nessus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Tenable Nessus that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Tenable Nessus using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
