A way to uninstall Scrivener from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Scrivener is a program marketed by the software company Literature and Latte. Some users choose to remove this program. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows computer.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Scrivener or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Scrivener". If it exists on your system the Scrivener program will be found automatically. After you click Scrivener in the list , some information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about Scrivener, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Scrivener:

• The publisher is: www.literatureandlatte.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Scrivener3\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Scrivener.


8. After removing Scrivener, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Scrivener that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
