A way to uninstall Scrivener from your system

Scrivener is a Windows application. If you are manually uninstalling Scrivener we recommend you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Scrivener:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\IObit\IObit Uninstaller\Log\Scrivener.history

Registry that is not cleaned:

A way to erase Scrivener from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Scrivener is a program released by Literature and Latte. Some people try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because performing this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Scrivener or simply click the Search feature and type in "Scrivener". If it exists on your system the Scrivener app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Scrivener in the list , some information about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Scrivener, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Scrivener:

• The web site of the application is: www.literatureandlatte.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Scrivener3\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Scrivener.


8. After uninstalling Scrivener, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Scrivener which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Scrivener with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
