A guide to uninstall STM32CubeMX from your system

STM32CubeMX is a software application. This page contains details on how to remove it from your PC. It is written by STMicroelectronics. Go over here where you can find out more on STMicroelectronics. Usually the STM32CubeMX application is placed in the C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeMX\Uninstaller directory, depending on the user's option during install. You can uninstall STM32CubeMX by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeMX\Uninstaller\startuninstall.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. STM32CubeMX's main file takes around 70.60 KB (72294 bytes) and is named startuninstall.exe.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

How to delete STM32CubeMX from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

STM32CubeMX is an application offered by the software company STMicroelectronics. Some users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be efortful because deleting this manually takes some skill related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE action to uninstall STM32CubeMX is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find STM32CubeMX or simply activate the Search field and type in "STM32CubeMX". If it exists on your system the STM32CubeMX app will be found automatically. After you click STM32CubeMX in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding STM32CubeMX, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall STM32CubeMX.


8. After removing STM32CubeMX, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of STM32CubeMX which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing STM32CubeMX with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
