A guide to uninstall RetroArch from your PC

Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. The program's main executable file is titled retroarch.exe and it has a size of 15.37 MB (16111413 bytes).

Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you uninstall RetroArch.

The files below remain on your disk when you remove RetroArch:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\RetroArch

Additional values that you should clean:

A way to delete RetroArch from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RetroArch is a program released by the software company Libretro. Some computer users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be hard because deleting this by hand takes some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. 3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate RetroArch or simply click the Search feature and type in "RetroArch". If it exists on your system the RetroArch program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click RetroArch in the list of apps, the following data about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about RetroArch, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for RetroArch:

• The software company is: https://www.retroarch.com/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\RetroArch\uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall RetroArch.


8. After removing RetroArch, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong RetroArch which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing RetroArch with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
