A way to uninstall Rainmeter from your PC

Rainmeter is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. It is developed by Win10 Widgets. Further information on Win10 Widgets can be found here. Please open if you want to read more on Rainmeter on Win10 Widgets's page. The program is usually found in the C:\Program Files\Rainmeter folder (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing Rainmeter is C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\uninst.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. Rainmeter's primary file takes about 37.64 KB (38544 bytes) and is named Rainmeter.exe.

Rainmeter installs the following the executables on your PC, taking about 164.07 KB (168007 bytes) on disk.

  • SkinInstaller.exe (27.64 KB)

How to erase Rainmeter using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Rainmeter is a program marketed by Win10 Widgets. Some people decide to uninstall it. Sometimes this can be difficult because doing this manually requires some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE way to uninstall Rainmeter is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Rainmeter or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Rainmeter". If it is installed on your PC the Rainmeter program will be found automatically. When you click Rainmeter in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Rainmeter, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\uninst.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Rainmeter.

8. After uninstalling Rainmeter, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Rainmeter that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Rainmeter with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
