A way to uninstall RTD from your PC

RTD is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by Interactive Data. You can find out more on Interactive Data or check for application updates here. Further information about RTD can be seen at http://www.InteractiveData.com. RTD is usually installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Interactive Data\RTD folder, however this location can vary a lot depending on the user's choice when installing the application. The full command line for uninstalling RTD is C:\Program Files (x86)\Interactive Data\RTD\Uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for admin rights. RtdBusSvc1.exe is the RTD's main executable file and it takes close to 227.50 KB (232960 bytes) on disk.

When you're planning to uninstall RTD you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Generally the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\RTD

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\RtdBus\ImagePath

How to erase RTD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate RTD or simply activate the Search feature and type in "RTD". The RTD application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select RTD in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding RTD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Interactive Data\RTD\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall RTD.


8. After removing RTD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong RTD which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing RTD with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
