A way to uninstall RTD from your system

This web page contains thorough information on how to remove RTD for Windows. The Windows release was created by Interactive Data. Go over here for more details on Interactive Data. Please open http://www.InteractiveData.com if you want to read more on RTD on Interactive Data's web page. Usually the RTD program is installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Interactive Data\RTD directory, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for removing RTD is C:\Program Files (x86)\Interactive Data\RTD\Uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may be prompted for administrator rights. RTD's primary file takes around 227.50 KB (232960 bytes) and is called RtdBusSvc1.exe.

RTD is comprised of the following executables which take 410.42 KB (420267 bytes) on disk:

RTD has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{DF1C5F96-6935-4586-98B2-4BC1E4D3F4D2}

A way to erase RTD from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

RTD is a program released by Interactive Data. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall it. This can be easier said than done because removing this by hand takes some skill related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY solution to uninstall RTD is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find RTD or simply activate the Search field and type in "RTD". If it is installed on your PC the RTD program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select RTD in the list , some data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding RTD, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for RTD:

• The publisher is: http://www.InteractiveData.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Interactive Data\RTD\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove RTD.


8. After uninstalling RTD, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of RTD that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling RTD using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
