Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you uninstall Potplayer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Potplayer:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\DAUM\PotPlayer
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Daum PotPlayer
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Daum\Daum Potplayer

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Potplayer:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\DAUM\PotPlayer\ATextOut.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\DAUM\PotPlayer\AudFilt.dll
• C:\Program Files (x86)\DAUM\PotPlayer\AviSynth\ColorBars.avs
• C:\Program Files (x86)\DAUM\PotPlayer\AviSynth\FasterTrueMotion.avs

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.dpl
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.dsf
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.modd
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.moff

Registry values that are not removed from your computer:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\PotPlayerMini.exe\shell\Enqueue\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\PotPlayerMini.exe\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\PotPlayerMini.exe\shell\play\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3643C661-18D4-4B82-8AF8-53742FBEC4EF}\LocalServer32\
