Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file has a size of 472.00 KB (483328 bytes) on disk and is called putty.exe.

A way to erase PuTTY from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PuTTY is an application marketed by the software company Simon Tatham. Some computer users want to erase it. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate PuTTY or simply click the Search feature and type in "PuTTY". If it is installed on your PC the PuTTY program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select PuTTY in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding PuTTY, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall PuTTY.


8. After uninstalling PuTTY, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of PuTTY which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing PuTTY using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
