A guide to uninstall PuTTY from your PC

PuTTY is a Windows program. A way to erase PuTTY using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PuTTY is a program marketed by the software company Simon Tatham. Sometimes, computer users try to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because performing this manually requires some skill related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK way to uninstall PuTTY is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general tool to optimize your system.

• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate PuTTY or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PuTTY". The PuTTY application will be found automatically. Notice that after you click PuTTY in the list of apps, some data about the application is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about PuTTY, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove PuTTY.


8. After removing PuTTY, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong PuTTY that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing PuTTY using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
