A guide to uninstall Nextcloud from your system

Nextcloud is a Windows program. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. Nextcloud's main file takes about 2.40 MB (2519488 bytes) and is called nextcloud.exe.

How to uninstall Nextcloud from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Nextcloud is an application released by the software company Nextcloud GmbH. Frequently, users decide to remove it. This is hard because performing this manually takes some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove Nextcloud is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. All the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find Nextcloud or simply activate the Search field and type in "Nextcloud". The Nextcloud program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Nextcloud in the list , some data regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Nextcloud, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
For example you can see that for Nextcloud:





  • The web site of the application is: https://nextcloud.com/
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Nextcloud\Uninstall.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Nextcloud.

8. After uninstalling Nextcloud, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Nextcloud that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Nextcloud using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
