A way to erase McAfee WebAdvisor from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee WebAdvisor is a program marketed by McAfee, Inc.. Some users want to erase this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY practice to erase McAfee WebAdvisor is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.

• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find McAfee WebAdvisor or simply click the Search feature and type in "McAfee WebAdvisor". If it exists on your system the McAfee WebAdvisor application will be found automatically. When you select McAfee WebAdvisor in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding McAfee WebAdvisor, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\McAfee\WebAdvisor\Uninstaller.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove McAfee WebAdvisor.


8. After removing McAfee WebAdvisor, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong McAfee WebAdvisor which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing McAfee WebAdvisor using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
