How to uninstall McAfee® Total Protection using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

McAfee® Total Protection is an application offered by McAfee, Inc.. Some computer users choose to erase this application. This is troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE action to erase McAfee® Total Protection is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to take care of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate McAfee® Total Protection or simply click the Search field and type in "McAfee® Total Protection". If it exists on your system the McAfee® Total Protection program will be found automatically. When you click McAfee® Total Protection in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding McAfee® Total Protection, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove McAfee® Total Protection.


8. After uninstalling McAfee® Total Protection, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong McAfee® Total Protection that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling McAfee® Total Protection with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
