How to uninstall MVS from your system

This page contains thorough information on how to remove MVS for Windows. The Windows version was developed by Hikrobot. Additional info about Hikrobot can be found here. Further information about MVS can be seen at http://www.hikrobotics.com. Usually the MVS application is placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\MVS directory, depending on the user's option during install. You can remove MVS by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\MVS\uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file occupies 6.53 MB (6851728 bytes) on disk and is named MVS.exe.

Many files, folders and Windows registry entries can not be removed when you remove MVS from your PC.

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\HIK_MVS

A way to erase MVS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MVS is an application marketed by Hikrobot. Some users decide to erase this program. Sometimes this is difficult because doing this manually takes some know-how related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE action to erase MVS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to take care of your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find MVS or simply click the Search feature and type in "MVS". The MVS program will be found very quickly. After you select MVS in the list , the following data about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about MVS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for MVS:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.hikrobotics.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\MVS\uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall MVS.


8. After removing MVS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of MVS which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing MVS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
