A way to uninstall MEmu from your computer

Some files and registry entries are frequently left behind when you remove MEmu.

Folders remaining:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\IDM\DwnlData\UserName\memu-setup_43
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\IDM\DwnlData\UserName\MEmu-setup-abroad-07_19

Generally the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\RADAR\HeapLeakDetection\DiagnosedApplications\MEmu.exe
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MEmu

How to remove MEmu from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MEmu is an application released by Microvirt. Sometimes, people try to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because removing this manually requires some skill regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY procedure to uninstall MEmu is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows computer.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate MEmu or simply click the Search feature and type in "MEmu". If it is installed on your PC the MEmu program will be found very quickly. When you click MEmu in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding MEmu, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for MEmu:

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove MEmu.


8. After removing MEmu, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong MEmu which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing MEmu with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
