Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are shown below.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MEmu

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar\MEmu.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\MEmu\Uninstall MEmu.lnk

Generally the following registry keys will not be cleaned:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MEmu

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MEmuDrv\DisplayName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MEmusvc\ImagePath
