A guide to uninstall Google Chrome from your system

Google Chrome is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was developed by Google. More information on Google can be seen here. Google Chrome is frequently set up in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Setup64 folder, but this location may differ a lot depending on the user's option while installing the application. The full uninstall command line for Google Chrome is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Setup64\Setup.exe. Setup.exe is the programs's main file and it takes circa 2.10 MB (2199552 bytes) on disk.

A way to delete Google Chrome from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Google Chrome is an application released by Google. Some computer users want to erase this application. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category

5. A list of the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Google Chrome or simply click the Search feature and type in "Google Chrome". If it is installed on your PC the Google Chrome app will be found very quickly. When you click Google Chrome in the list of apps, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Google Chrome, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Google Chrome.

8. After uninstalling Google Chrome, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Google Chrome which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
