A guide to uninstall Firefox from your PC

A way to uninstall Firefox with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Firefox is an application offered by the software company Mozilla. Some people choose to erase it. This can be difficult because performing this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE action to erase Firefox is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Firefox or simply activate the Search field and type in "Firefox". If it exists on your system the Firefox application will be found very quickly. After you select Firefox in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Firefox, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Firefox.

8. After uninstalling Firefox, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Firefox that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
