A guide to uninstall Firefox from your computer

Firefox is a Windows program. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. firefox.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 382.95 KB (392136 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove Firefox from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Firefox is an application marketed by the software company Mozilla. Sometimes, users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this is difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove Firefox is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows computer.

  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Firefox or simply click the Search feature and type in "Firefox". If it is installed on your PC the Firefox program will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Firefox in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Firefox, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Firefox.

8. After uninstalling Firefox, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Firefox which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Firefox with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
