A way to uninstall EVE Online from your computer

Below you can find details on how to uninstall it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by CCP. You can read more on CCP or check for application updates here. More details about EVE Online can be found at https://support.eveonline.com. EVE Online is frequently installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\DODI-Repacks\EVE directory, however this location may vary a lot depending on the user's choice while installing the program. You can uninstall EVE Online by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\DODI-Repacks\EVE\maintenancetool.exe. Keep in mind that you might get a notification for admin rights. EVE Online's main file takes around 2.42 MB (2535536 bytes) and is called evelauncher.exe.

If planning to uninstall EVE Online you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall EVE Online:

• C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\ApplicationOntology\data\wrappers\eve_online
• C:\UserNames\UserName\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\VisualOPSData\eve_online

Usually, the following files are left on disk:

How to erase EVE Online from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

EVE Online is an application marketed by CCP. Sometimes, people decide to erase it. Sometimes this can be hard because doing this manually takes some know-how related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE practice to erase EVE Online is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate EVE Online or simply click the Search field and type in "EVE Online". If it is installed on your PC the EVE Online application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click EVE Online in the list , some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about EVE Online, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for EVE Online:

• The publisher is: https://support.eveonline.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\DODI-Repacks\EVE\maintenancetool.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove EVE Online.


8. After uninstalling EVE Online, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of EVE Online which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling EVE Online using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
