A guide to uninstall EVE Online from your PC

This web page contains thorough information on how to uninstall EVE Online for Windows. It was developed for Windows by CCP. Open here where you can find out more on CCP. You can see more info about EVE Online at https://support.eveonline.com. The application is often placed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Kingo ROOT\EVE folder (same installation drive as Windows). C:\Program Files (x86)\Kingo ROOT\EVE\maintenancetool.exe is the full command line if you want to uninstall EVE Online. The program's main executable file is labeled evelauncher.exe and occupies 2.31 MB (2420296 bytes).

EVE Online is comprised of the following executables which take 42.51 MB (44574215 bytes) on disk:

A considerable amount of files, folders and Windows registry entries will be left behind when you remove EVE Online from your computer.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall EVE Online:

• C:\EVE

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{770c47ae-3788-4f01-9fc0-2d51ffb7850b}

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\EVE\Launcher\evelauncher.exe.FriendlyAppName

How to remove EVE Online from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

EVE Online is a program marketed by the software company CCP. Sometimes, users want to erase it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because performing this manually requires some experience regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE approach to erase EVE Online is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find EVE Online or simply click the Search field and type in "EVE Online". If it is installed on your PC the EVE Online app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click EVE Online in the list of apps, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about EVE Online, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for EVE Online:

• The publisher is: https://support.eveonline.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Kingo ROOT\EVE\maintenancetool.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove EVE Online.


8. After uninstalling EVE Online, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong EVE Online that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing EVE Online using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
