A way to uninstall EVE Online from your computer

You can find on this page details on how to uninstall EVE Online for Windows. It was developed for Windows by CCP. You can find out more on CCP or check for application updates here. The application is usually found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\EVE directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can remove EVE Online by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\EVE\maintenancetool.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. evelauncher.exe is the EVE Online's primary executable file and it takes circa 2.47 MB (2591304 bytes) on disk.

EVE Online has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Generally the following registry keys will not be cleaned:

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{1c10c5ab-8c62-4485-8959-a07c7cfc0861}

Additional registry values that are not cleaned:

A way to remove EVE Online from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate EVE Online or simply activate the Search feature and type in "EVE Online". If it is installed on your PC the EVE Online program will be found automatically. When you click EVE Online in the list of programs, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about EVE Online, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall EVE Online.


8. After removing EVE Online, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong EVE Online that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
