How to uninstall Claude from your PC

This web page contains complete information on how to remove Claude for Windows. It was developed for Windows by Anthropic PBC. More information on Anthropic PBC can be seen here. Usually the Claude application is found in the C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\AnthropicClaude folder, depending on the user's option during install. You can uninstall Claude by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\AnthropicClaude\Update.exe. Keep in mind that you might receive a notification for admin rights. Claude.exe is the Claude's primary executable file and it occupies about 354.60 KB (363112 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall Claude from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Claude is a program released by Anthropic PBC. Some users try to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because doing this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK action to erase Claude is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your computer.

• go to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Claude or simply activate the Search field and type in "Claude". If it is installed on your PC the Claude app will be found automatically. When you select Claude in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Claude, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Claude.


8. After uninstalling Claude, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Claude that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Claude using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
